State geospatial data and software standards are drafted by the Missouri Adaptive Enterprise Architecture (MAEA) in conjunction with the Missouri GIS Advisory Committee (MGISAC). The MAEA Information Domain defines the roles, technologies, standards, and policies necessary to manage, store, design, and provide the information assets for the State. The disciplines under this domain deal with the geographic component inherent in all information. State standards developed mirror appropriate national standards where appropriate.
